Read This Before You Do New Year Resolutions…

Most New Year Resolutions Are Not Worth It.

In a few weeks, we'll be in 2015. The time of the yearly ritual: New Year Resolutions.

There will be a hyped craze for setting New Year Resolutions. If you don't join it'll seem you don't have a goal for the year.

New Year Resolutions are a waste of time. Instead you should set your yearly goals before the end of the year. So you can start implementing them and build up a momentum coming into the new year.

If you desire to make 2-15 your best year ever this is what you should do:

1. Lay The Foundation. “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”Ps. 11:3

a. Set Your Goals Now:

1 year, 2yrs or 5yrs from today: Where do you see yourself?

Today is the day and now is the hour for you to set goals for 2015 and beyond.

Write out your goals in simple sentences:
To be the MD of _ Group
Build my own 4 bedroom house at _

b. Plan Your Year:
Some goals can intimidate you. Stare you down like The Good, The Bad, The Ugly face off at the cementry. It doesn't have to be this way.

Break it down to have actionable plan.

2. Upgrade Your Mind.

a. Attitude. at·ti·tude

noun "a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior."

Your attitude is important. It is your reaction to setbacks and challenging obstacles. If your attitude is weak, you will always blame others for your lack of progress.

b. Perseverance

“If you are going through hell, keep going.”
― Winston S. Churchill

The Difference Between Failure And Success Is Perseverance. You must persevere till you succeed.
Perseverance is the ingredient that separates achievers and the also-ran.

How many times have you started a business or a goal and given up half way.

If there's one quality you should imbibe this new year it should be perseverance.

3. Confess Positive. …and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom. 10:10

With the heart you believe and with the mouth you confess your salvation from poverty, debts, sickness and limitations.

You have prepared your heart from the preceding…now you confess unto your victory.

What you do is simply turn your goals to short positive words you will constantly confess daily.
